This post is added to celebrate the temporary “cease-fire” between the French train unions and the government. Public transport services have been disrupted since 5 December 2019, as a manifestation against the government’s bill on pension reform.
The train unions have decided to take a hiatus this week. This morning was the first time I took a train to Paris since 5 December, and the trains were running smoothly.
How long will this cease-fire last? Wait for my update.
